We have enjoyed our stay at Grand Jatra very much. The kids love the pool and the breakfast is amazing with all Indonesian and western options available. The staff are very polite, friendly and happy to help with anything. We highly recommend it as a great place to stay in Pekanbaru.

Really convenient. Room service is excellent. Food is good, quality service is real. The location of the event is near. Rooms are big and spacious. Had a great stay. We enjoyed. The staff is friendly and helpful

The service here is very good. The staff are accommodating, the food is great, the place is good. The breakfast buffet serves both local and continental food, which gives the guests a full experience of the Indonesian food.

After three days of homestaying, a hot shower and a clean bed is a relief. Nonetheless, this maybe a 5 star hotel to local standards. Just 4 would be enough. In particular the staff could be more pro-active. A dining room full of tables with leftover food is not very encouraging. The biggest nuisance, however, is the wifi. Every square 30 meters seem to have another username and another login. Even for the staff this was a complexity beyond belief. Breakfast is very asian (no yoghurt), but largely laid out. The dinner is OK-ish, but the menu gives little choice.

This is the second time I stayed here, but turned out bad experience. I was impressed when I was staying here first time at 2016. Clean hotel, nice breakfast, comfy room, and they had Enoki restaurant which served delicious unagi sushi. The second stay experience on February 2023 is the opposite of the first one. I got room with no bathroom doormat, in the shower tube the shower faucet was rusty and there was big crack on the floor, it was dangerous because there was only dim lighting in the bathroom. Next, the breakfast. Need a lot improvement. Please provide premium bread and individual butter, not a can of margarine. The bread toaster didn't give enough heat to toast the bread properly. Bakso was the only one tasted good. I stayed here for 3 nights, means I had 3 breakfast times. The last, the main problem. Now they have club at the ground floor, but my room at the 5th floor is not sound proof at all. When the party goers having their peak dancing time in the mid night, the sound reachs my room during my sleep time. I couldn't sleep for two nights in my business trip. Plus their pillow were too small for a hotel grade pillow, and also deflated. This hotel really need serious improvement to compete with other hotels in the city.
